Patty Riskind is a dynamic healthcare technology leader who has achieved exponential growth with both small and large companies. She is known for her expertise in applying AI to improve patient and employee engagement.
Patty is currently Board Chair of Orbita, a conversational AI, generative AI, and machine learning company that automates both administrative and clinical workflows to make navigating healthcare easier. She joined Orbita in 2021 and has tripled revenue through organic growth and acquisitions. She was previously Head of Global Healthcare for Qualtrics, an experience management technology company. At Qualtrics, she established its healthcare division and grew revenue 450% in two years.
Previously, Patty was Chief Client Experience Officer (CXO) at Press Ganey Associates, the largest patient and employee experience analytics company in the US and was responsible for a $385 million P&L. She helped take Press Ganey public in 2015 for $1.35 billion and then private in 2016 for $2.35 billion.
Prior to Press Ganey, Patty was the Founder & CEO of PatientImpact LLC, the first e-survey SaaS company in the healthcare industry. Press Ganey acquired PatientImpact in 2009.
In addition to Orbita, Patty currently serves on the board of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Kellogg Healthcare Advisory Board, the Women’s Leadership Council for Brown University, and as an advisor for IntusCare, a healthcare analytics company supporting PACE organizations. Previously, she served on the board of NarrativeDx and PatientWisdom, venture capital-backed entities. She also served a three-year term as a public (non-physician) board member of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) on its compensation, audit, and finance committees.
Patty has a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a mom to three grown children and lives in Chicago with her husband and dog Buster.
