Jessica Beegle is a leading enterprise growth executive working at the intersection of healthcare and technology. She specializes in helping companies transform and grow their businesses through business model innovation, de novo business creation and the adoption of new technology, such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence, in regulated environments ranging from consumer health to clinical care to drug development.
Most recently, Jessica served as the first SVP & Chief Innovation Officer for Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery system, owned by Apollo Global Management, which serves patients across 62 hospitals, 62 rehab and behavioral centers, and 250 additional sites of care spanning 31 states. She drove digital transformation efforts for the company, creating the first-ever integrated enterprise data lake, in partnership with Palantir, to make data actionable at the bedside and drive growth for the company, while also overseeing a $30M early-stage strategic investment arm, 25m Health, where she invested alongside Tier 1 VCs in companies such as Midi Health, Abridge, and BioIntelliSense.
Prior to joining Lifepoint, she helped incubate and launch Walgreens Health, a new technology-enabled healthcare growth business for Walgreens Boots Alliance. Jessica also led consumer health efforts at Google, where she helped drive the creation of new features and functionality to improve consumers’ digital health journeys across Google’s “billion user products” (including Google Search, Maps, Android, YouTube, and Nest) and drove international expansion for DeepMind, the artificial intelligence arm of Google, driving the adoption of AI in healthcare markets across the US, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to Google, she was the founding member of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Healthcare & Life Sciences business, where she created one of the first industry verticals at the company and established AWS as the leading public cloud partner for payors, providers, medical device, pharmaceutical, and digital health companies across the globe. She began her career at General Electric (GE), supporting the growth of GE healthymagination, the $6B cross-company global health strategy, bringing together the best of GE Capital, GE Water, GE Research, and GE Healthcare to solve some of the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges.
Jessica has served as a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council for Brain Research, Meta-Council on the Future of Health, Future of the Internet Working Group, Global Shapers, and was a constituent at WEF’s Annual Meeting in Davos. She has served as an advisor for numerous disruptive startups including Science37 (Nasdaq SNCE), VisualDX, Arterys (acquired by Tempus), A.Team, and the Consumer Technology Association Health Division. Additionally, she serves on the Board of the United Way of Nashville Toqueville Society.
She is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at top financial, tech, and innovation conferences hosted by JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, HLTH, ViVE, and the Nashville Healthcare Council and has been named to the Becker’s Healthcare Top Transformation Officer, Top Chief Innovation Officer, and Nashville Business Journal Top Executive Women of Influence lists.
Jessica holds a juris doctor (J.D.) from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Georgia. She is a graduate of GE’s Executive Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) and the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School.
