Greg is a physician entrepreneur, advisor/investor, and product leader. He has built technology-led healthcare businesses in the consumer, employer, and payer space, with a focus on care model innovation and technology.
Greg was the Co-Founder of Carbon Health, a modern health company that provides urgent and primary care both virtually and via 100+ clinics, among other healthcare services. He helped to scale Carbon Health from inception in 2015 to Series C in 2020. At Carbon, he led the informatics and clinical technology team, overseeing a group of informaticists and physician experts to harness the power of Carbon’s data through ML and automation to improve efficiency, decrease burnout, and improve outcomes for patients. Greg also led the Clinical Program Design team that is responsible for the design, implementation and iteration of multiple new and innovative clinical offerings. These include asynchronous telemedicine visits, virtual behavioral health, population health and virtual longitudinal care, health coaching and nutrition, device integration for remote monitoring of chronic conditions, and others.
After Carbon Health, Greg spent time at Accolade (NASDAQ: ACCD) as the VP of Clinical Solutions and Gravie, a level-funded health plan for small to midsize businesses, as the Chief Medical Officer.
He has a passion for helping founders build valuable products within healthcare, especially at the earliest stages.
