Dr. Candice Balluru (Schaefer) is a board-certified licensed clinical psychologist, executive coach and thought leader in the field of mental health at work.
Candice has worked at Facebook, Twitter and Spring Health focused on employee health and wellbeing.
At Facebook, she created and delivered resiliency programming for employees working with graphic and sensitive content at Facebook. At Twitter, she served as the Director of Global Employee Wellness, a subject matter expert, and a consultant to many organizations within Twitter, with the goal of increasing employee resilience and decreasing occupational burnout. At Spring Health, a Series D-backed mental health technology company, Candice created an internal innovation lab researching the connections between mental health and high performance through workplace mental health interventions.
Currently, she serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Mindly, a startup focused on the development of people managers within organizations as a source of employee wellbeing, while also working with clients as a therapist or executive coach.
Candice is a well-known panelist and speaker at many employee well-being conferences around the world, with a focus on building employee resilience and designing a comprehensive mental health strategy.
Prior to moving to the tech industry, she spent 10 years as a practicing clinician in medical settings and private practice.
