Ben Wade is the Chief Strategy Officer and SVP of Strategy & Marketing for Stamford Health, an independent health system with 3,800 employees, an operating budget of close to $1 billion and the largest provider of health services in lower Fairfield County, CT. In this role, Ben is responsible for executive leadership in the areas of strategy, business development, marketing and communications, public relations, government affairs, community relations, physician relations, and analytics.
Prior to joining Stamford Health, Ben held the position of Assistant Vice President of Strategic Planning for Montefiore Medicine, a progressive integrated academic health system serving the Bronx and New York’s Hudson Valley. At Montefiore, Ben was responsible for leading regional planning with senior clinical and administrative executives, including partnerships and acquisitions, service line development, ambulatory access expansion, innovation strategies as well as provider engagement and network development.
Prior to his work at Montefiore, Ben worked as a Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in New York, and was a Consultant at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC. Ben received his Master’s in Business Administration with honors from Columbia University and graduated cum laude with a BA from Dartmouth College.
